Lt Lucy O'Connor RN:

Lt O'Connor is a shining light in the emerging sport of Ladies amateur boxing and her leadership has been recognised by her appointment as Team Captain for the GB Ladies team.  She has broken a lot of new ground in what has traditionally been a male sport and is without doubt a role model for many women in the Royal Navy.Her immediate aims are to compete at the two most important championships in 2011; the European Union Championships in Poland (September) and the British National Championships (December). Her long term aim is to make the GB Team for London 2012. Read the News section to keep up with Lucy's training and progress.
