Yachtmaster Shore Based

Yachtmaster Coastal/Offshore (Shorebased) is an advanced course in navigation and meteorology aimed at candidates for the Yachtmaster Coastal or Offshore Certificate. The syllabus makes some provision for the revision of subjects in the Day Skipper Shorebased course, however, those who have not acquired that knowledge are unlikely to be able to assimilate all of the subjects covered in this advanced course.  The cost of the course is £40

The course is conducted over a five and a half-day period, starting on Monday morning, with the Saturday morning being taken up by revision and examination. A good deal of evening revision is necessary throughout the week.

NOTE: You will be sent a pre-course questionnaire which will be assessed before final acceptance to the course.
