The sports centre itself is well equipped for the modern day needs of our sailors and airmen. There is a sports hall that caters for 5 a-side football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, netball, indoor tennis and indoor cricket.

There is a 25m swimming pool complete with sauna. The pool is used for not only lane swimming but water polo, sub-aqua, canoe polo, sea survival training and hydro rehabilitation. We have 2 squash courts one of which is glass backed.

The sports centre enjoys a well equipped gymnasium with a separate CV suite, resistance training area, free weight sections and spinning area as well as the primary care rehabilitation facility. Also there is a boxing gym, with full sized training ring which completes the range of facilities within the sports centre itself. The PT staff themselves run regular circuit training, core stability, spinning and boxercise weight management and aqua aerobics classes for both service and civilian personnel alike.

Away from the sports centre, the base benefits from 4 outdoor tennis courts, a newly refurbished astro turf pitch, 18 hole golf course, a judo dojo and one sports pavilion. The pavilion, situated outside the fence, comes complete with 6 changing rooms, bar, all weather cricket pitch, rugby pitch, 4 x full size football pitches with spectator seating and numerous junior football pitches. The establishment has

Finally, Culdrose has its own Sailing and Sub Aqua Centres located in Falmouth. The Sailing Centre is equipped with 2 sail training craft, 2 charter craft, numerous dinghies and 5 power boats.
